Mazze

My full name is Mauritz Wilhelm Knuts. The name Mauritz means Moor, as in dark skinned man a.k.a. African, and became commonly used after St.Mauritius. St.Mauritius was a roman leader in Egypt, he was an African thus he was black. He was in charge of 6,600 men that were ordered to harass Christians, which they refused to do, resulting in that Mauritius and his men being executed, 6,601 martyrs in one day. I am proud to be carrying the name Mauritz. My past: Born in Finland, Kristinestad, in 1983. Moved to Sweden, Umeå, the following year. Spent the first 5 years of my life in Sweden, then we moved back to the place I was born in. I then spent a large portion of my life in the village of Kristinestad, a time that was both bad and good. The good part was my childhood, which had much joy in it. The bad part was my teenage time. Things went really bad, and if it had not been for Jesus I would have ended up in places I would not have liked to be. Completed upper-secondary-whatever-school a.k.a. High School, and then left and have not returned yet, at least not for longer than a couple of days visiting my parents and grandparents. My present: Living in Vasa. Studying Construction Engineering at the Swedish Polytechnic Vasa. Happily married to my wife Tanja. Proud father of one. Sometimes working at a place called Tieliikelaitos, which is a company, owned by the government, that plans and builds roads. My future: Don’t really know yet, but I hope it will be awesome, and in a way I believe it will be so because God has a plan for me.
